Roman Glass Banner

The fragments of ancient glass with their unique patina were unearthed at archaeologic excavations and set into fascinating pieces of silver jewelry. They are the work of 85-year-old master Yemenite silversmith Moshe Ben David. Over decades, he has been creating hand-made masterpieces. The combination of antique glass and exquisite craftsmanship gives his jewelry its timeless character.

The pieces of glass date from the era of the Roman Empire. Moshe Ben David sets them with sterling silver, using the traditional Yemenite filigree technique. Each creation from his family workshop is unique and bears a certificate of authenticity. With their appearance in the film “Moses”, starring Burt Lancaster, his masterpieces have achieved worldwide recognition and fame.
